Are you a detail-driven Civil Designer or Civil Engineer with a passion for shaping small-scale commercial sites? A well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm in the San Gabriel Valley is looking to bring on a highly skilled professional to support their growing client base—primarily one of the region's most iconic quick-service restaurant brands.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, close-knit team of experts that has been delivering high-quality site development work for nearly 30 years. You’ll work on grading, drainage, utility plans, and more for 1–2 acre commercial developments across the western U.S.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Design grading, drainage, and utility plans for entitlement- and permit-level submittals
• Collaborate with a team of drafters and engineers to translate designs into complete plan sets
• Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and regulatory agencies as needed
• Contribute to a fast-paced, flexible environment where quality and ownership are key

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 5–8+ years of experience in civil/site development design (commercial sites strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, and utility design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D in a civil design setting
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Experience with fast-paced projects (e.g., restaurants, shopping centers, etc.)
• Familiarity with stormwater/NPDES/LID standards is a plus
• Must be a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills
