Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to specifications.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to assemble products accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all assembled parts meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Benefits

3-6 month contract

Rate: $21-$25/ hr
